The Behr 2026 Color of the Year Sweepstakes, sponsored by Behr Paint Company, presents one lucky winner with a grand prize of $50,000 (USD) or its Canadian equivalent. The sweepstakes is open from July 30 through August 13, 2025, to legal residents aged 18 or older in the 50 U.S. states, D.C., and Canada.
Entry Details
To participate, individuals must purchase any BEHR product either in-store or online during the promotional period. After making a purchase, they need to submit their receipt along with a completed entry form on the official Behr sweepstakes website. Participants are also encouraged to follow Behr on social media platforms like Instagram or TikTok. Alternatively, entrants have the option to send a handwritten entry card by mail before the deadline. Each person is allowed only one entry throughout the sweepstakes period, regardless of the entry method chosen.
A random drawing will determine the winner on or around August 25, 2025. The selected winner will be notified via email and will need to complete additional verification and documentation steps, including signing an eligibility affidavit and preparing tax forms. Canadian winners will also have to answer a skill-testing question to confirm their eligibility.
The grand prize will be awarded as a check to the winner, who will be responsible for any associated tax obligations. The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as it is given.
