Win a 1969 Ford GRT-100 Truck

You can enter the 69 Ford Truck Giveaway From Goodguys for your chance to win a custom 1969 Ford GRT-100 (Goodguys Race Truck) valued at almost $40,000. This amazing muscle truck is the brainchild of Lucky 7 Speed Shop and Eric Brockmeyer bringing life to this truck masterpiece. Entry ends June 04, 2019.

Now that is one good looking truck. A real classic from my era. Not that Granny was old enough to drive in 1969 of course, wink wink. It’s so cool that the Good Guys took this old farm truck, souped it up, and gave it a new life as a “GRT” or Good Guys Racing Truck.

And souped up it sure is, with a set of JRI hydraulic over coil shocks and springs for that low profile look, a 6 speed TREMEC transmission, a Centerforce clutch, BF Goodrich tires, and 18” US Mags that fit the style perfectly. This ain’t your grand-daddy’s Ford truck anymore. And that’s not all, on the interior it boasts Mastercraft seats, a Flashpower steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges, Dynamat mats, and a Kicker Audio system.

Despite it’s modern touches it really brings back the good old days when life was still tough, but simple, when the latest gadget was a calculator watch. If you were young you were protesting Vietnam, dreaming of heading to Woodstock, and sporting a mini dress with a collar so big the Pilgrims on the Mayflower would have been jealous. Everything was groovy and far out, and bell bottoms and disco were just around the corner.

This amazing giveaway really proves that what was once old can be fresh again, that style really is cyclical and that not all is lost from yesteryear. I sincerely hope one of my fans or subscribers is the lucky winner of this custom truck and gives it another fifty proud years on the road.

Let us know in the comments if you owned an original 1969 Ford Truck, or what vehicle you were driving back then.
