Now that is one massively large TV! I bet you can see it clearly from your neighbors house across the street. You probably have to call in the Army Corp of Engineers to get that behemoth mounted to your wall! The house I live in is so small, I imagine I would have to knock a wall out to make space for the giant UHD Smart TV they are giving away in this contest. But I assume there are many of you out there that can think of nothing better than kicking your feet up and binge watching the latest Netflix series on a 75″ TV.

Even if you don’t win the TV, you have a chance to be a weekly winner of a year’s supply of avocados from Avocados From Mexico and bacon from Smithfield. When I was growing up in south Florida you could still find “wild” avocado trees growing out in and around the “woods”. Mind you they were Florida avocados, the decidedly less tasty cousins to the Hass avocados you win in this contest.

But nevertheless, my uncle would send me out on missions, armed with a few shopping bags, to collect the family some green goodness for the purpose of making guacamole. Of course this was in the days of yore when kids could roam free without much worry. Anyhow I absolutely loved feeling like I was making an important contribution to the family, even though at the time I wouldn’t have touched guacamole if you bribed me with new toys. It wasn’t until many years later that I started to wonder, were those really “wild” avocados or did my uncle send me into someone’s grove to, let’s just say “borrow”, those avocados? I may never know.

Nowadays avocados are absolutely one of my favorite treats. I usually skip all the mashing and mixing and just cut one open, add a little salt, and enjoy. And bacon, well I think it goes without saying. If you don’t like bacon, you must not even be from planet Earth.
