These KitchenAid stand mixers are an absolute classic kitchen utensil that will most likely last you a lifetime and perhaps even be passed down to the generations that follow. I am lucky enough to have one of these at my house and let me tell you, it’s ease of use versus a hand mixer or whisk is night and day. The last point I will make is in regards to it’s durability.   5. Aloha Friends! I actually stil have a 1970’s Avocado Green Kitchenaide Mixer that my friend gave to me 20 yrs. ago (she got a new one). It has a few bumps & a dent but still works fine. I have been using it for 20 yrs. It has seen kids, gandkids & lots of frosting & cakes!!! I’d like to win a new one then I will retire my 1970’s one & keep as a Keep sake!

I have owned my KitchenAid since 2003, I use it everyday from making dough for tortillas to making cakes and cookies, what a My Favorite Things is cooking and baking for my family and friends, if my KitchenAid goes out my husband would go buy a new one that day or he would not have homemade tortillas.
